The architecture of the space

Created in June 1999, initially at the Fondation Victor Lyon, the language lab moved to the Maison internationale in October 2005 on the 1st floor of the central library. In 2021, work was carried out to reorganise the library spaces. The language lab was moved and extended to the 2nd floor of the library.

The main room, with its reception area, houses 7 self-study workstations. At the back of the room, a reading and documentation area is also available for conversation groups. A patio provides plenty of natural light and is perfect for breaks for users of the language lab.

A multi-skilled team

The language lab team is made up of teachers of French as a foreign language. They are there to welcome you and advise you in your learning process. They manage the space and its services, run the French language workshops at the espace langues, design and run the FLE courses organized by Acc&ss and manage the organization of conversation groups.
