Founded in 1925 after the First World War, its aim is to bring together young people from all over the world in the same place. The aim: to create peace and encourage people to live well together. Considered a utopian dream, this great humanist project has nevertheless become a tangible reality thanks to the solid convictions of its founders. Soon to be a century old, the Cité Internationale welcomes 12,000 students, researchers and artists of over 150 nationalities every year.
