The Four Seasons
This series of frescoes was designed by Kraesten Iversen and painted by his student, Johan Wilhelm Andersen. Each fresco depicts a different season. Spring is represented by a ploughing scene in a plain bordered by a wooded hillside; summer by a lush green meadow; autumn by a coastal landscape; and winter by a lake surrounded by snow-covered fields.
