Fresco in the Church of Santa Maria dei Servi

Inside the House of Italy, you can admire this fabulous 14th-century fresco, rescued from the dilapidated Church of Santa Maria dei Servi in Milan, which was destroyed in 1847. This work, by an anonymous Lombard painter, depicts Saint Francis receiving the stigmata and Saint Christopher, and belongs to the Brera Museum in Milan. It was completely restored in Italy in 2010.
