Cneai=
National Centre for Contemporary Arts

Every month the Cneai= offers tours of its workshops, openings, gallery, museum and art events in Paris or Île-de-France in small groups. Accompanied by an artist, curator or art critic you can discover new places and neighbourhoods, meet artists and young art lovers. It is free of charge and open to residents and employees at the Cité internationale and to Île-de-France students.

Whether you are a teacher, researcher, artist, student, collector, art lover or simply curious, the Cneai welcomes you every Wednesday from 3pm until 6pm by appointment, offering a place for meeting and reflections about interdisciplinary projects that can create a link between the human sciences, hard sciences and artistic creation.

Come and discover our collections! The Cneai= has three collection funds. The FMRA collection, which is made up of more than 11,000 artist books and pop-ups, the MULTIPLES collection, which is made up of 600 original works and editions published by the Cneai= and the Yona Friedman collection, which is made up of about 100 works by the artist. The archives and collections are also accessible and available for consultation at the Cneai=.

Let yourself by surprised by our annual exhibitions! The Cneai= organises “intramurals”, two to three exhibitions per year at the Cité internationale, allowing you to discover contemporary artists. The Cneai= also invites you to experience mobile artistic adventures thanks to its expositions and “extramural” residencies both in France and overseas.
