All year round L/OBLIQUE organises themed tours to the site, for individuals or in groups. The Campus Guided Tour enables the public to discover this exceptional ‘city within a city’ by means of 4 themed guided tours organised all year round:
/// ARCHITECTURE WITHOUT FRONTIERS ///
Guided tour organised on the first Sunday of every month.
A real journey through the architecture of the 20th century, the Architecture without Frontiers tour enables you to discover the diversity of buildings on the International Campus, modern, prestigious edifices, which are, however, also shared living spaces for its residents.
/// AN ECOLOGICAL PARK ///
Guided tour organised on the last Sunday of every month.
Conceived from the outset as a defining element of the management plan for the International Campus, the park is an outstanding example of landscaped heritage in the heart of the capital. The ‘An Ecological Park’ tour presents the history of the park and its fauna and flora and explains how it is managed, with the emphasis on the ecological methods used.
/// AN INTERNATIONAL CAMPUS FOR THE FUTURE ///
At a time when the International Campus is entering its 3rd construction phase, with 10 new residences planned for 2020, this tour points out the challenges presented by the development project and shows the changes currently happening on the spot, as well as what is planned.
/// LIVING ON THE INTERNATIONAL CAMPUS ///
A place of shared life experiences and multi-cultural sociability, every year the International Campus hosts 12,000 students, researchers and artists from all over the world. This tour explains how the institution functions, and at the same time tells the story of day-to-day life on the International Campus and its links with history, in particular the history of its international links.
