ANECDOTE

The group sculpture Aux champs, which was originally located in the main courtyard, is the work of the French artist Émile Oscar Guillaume (1867-1942). Known for his pacifism, and a friend of the politician Aristide Briand, he was the designer of numerous commemorative monuments, including a bronze piece that was well-publicised at its time, unbolted, vandalised and repeatedly reinstalled: La Délivrance, a nude woman, holding her arms up to the sky, with a sword in one hand, which was supposed to represent the end of the German occupation after the war.

Upcoming events

Thanks to its 43 houses, the Cité internationale offers a rich cultural and artistic program to all audiences : concerts, screenings, conferences, exhibitions, shows…

Discover them in our cultural agenda CitéScope.

A DEDICATED AND PROFESSIONAL TEAM

Every house runs thanks to a professional and dedicated team. Whether they are in charge of hospitality, planning, cooking, cleaning, maintenance or security, they are all committed to making sure that your stay in the building goes smoothly.

THE RESIDENTS’ COMMITTEE

The campus is yours so take part in organising its social and cultural life! Residents are elected within your house every year. They take care of the organisation and representation of residents with the house’s administration. We also encourage resident engagement in collective projects and in the organisation of cultural and artistic events.
