The Cité internationale Theatre was a great discovery for me upon my arrival at the Cité internationale because art is one of the best ways to meet students from different cultures.

SEASON 2025/2026

Each season, several productions by young artists in residence at the TCi resonate with one another, creating a kind of common thread. In 2025–2026, under the banner of “Less,” the focus will turn to ecological issues and the social questions that accompany them. In response to the one-dimensional figure of the “consumer,” the aim is to collectively re-examine our plural place in the world: what emotions and impulses drive us? How can we create, out of individual experiences and sensations, a sense of collectivity and shared belonging? Several artists in the programme have chosen to take less conventional paths in addressing these questions. Giving them this space means shedding light on the distortions and excesses of our world, taking us beyond appearances and the everyday, and perhaps even helping to transform a situation that might otherwise seem immutable. Through the diversity of its activities, and thanks to its location at the heart of the Cité, the TCi offers all residents an open framework for dialogue and exchange, at the crossroads of the arts and critical thought.
Residents of the Cité internationale benefit from reduced rates.
