Interview with the Director of Relations of the Maison internationale
After a long experience as a technical sales representative in the electronics industry, I decided to go back to school to study business management and human resources. I arrived at the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris in March 2005, as a management assistant at the Maison internationale. Far from being an administrative position, I was quickly able to take charge of managing event files, while also being responsible for monitoring the maintenance and security of the building. The versatility of this position was a revelation. This was followed by several lives within the Maison internationale itself, with the management of partnerships, events organised in the park or the filming and shooting activity for 4 years and now the management of the Maison internationale.
150 different nationalities, 43 houses, 1000 events per year, a preserved park and peace values, isn’t it a unique campus in the world?
The Maison internationale is for me the heart of the campus, the place where all publics can meet, the place where services are provided to residents. I like to say that the Maison internationale is the Cité internationale’s castle or at least its showcase.
Human.
The human being is at the very heart of this city, without distinction of colour or nationality and yet rich in culture.
