In order to attract and retain talented people, we are committed to enhancing everyone’s role, reinforcing engagement and encouraging innovation and initiatives, all while optimising skills and exchanges. In order to achieve this, we build a fair and friendly relationship with our employees by offering everyone the chance to train and develop their skills. Our HR policy is based on two complementary pillars: support for employees and the development and enhancing professional skills.
The Cité internationale’s employees share in the pride of being a part of an institution that was founded nearly 100 years ago in order to promote international exchanges and peace. This project is still relevant and employees work to bring its century-old values of peace, tolerance, solidarity and intercultural dialogue to life on a daily basis. Join us and help carry on these universal values!
Working at the Cité internationale means being a part of an institution that doesn’t stop innovating and that has made diversity and tolerance a priority since its creation in 1925. We have common values to share.
The Cité internationale universitaire de Paris is currently undergoing a phase of historic development. By 2025 it will welcome 10 new houses and modernise all of its services. The campus will welcome 12,000 students, researchers and artists from 150 nationalities in its 43 houses every year.
The Cité internationale functions like a small city and its jobs are very varied (technical services, gardeners, hospitality, support etc.) but they all have one thing in common: improving hospitality and services offered to residents and visitors. Our employees plan, innovate, create, guide and orchestrate every day.
Balance between professional and personal life, demand, friendliness and protection are the pillars of a lasting relationship with our employees: the possibility of working from home two days a week (where possible), awareness workshops to improve working conditions, access to around 50 different sports at preferential rates on campus etc…
Our commitments are based on 3 pillars: living together better, solidarity and being connected, and creating a sustainable world. We share these values with our employees in order to have a positive impact on society and to build a peaceful world for today and tomorrow. We advocate for and transmit a culture of equality on a daily basis. We focus on the equality between men and women (index of 94/100 in 2020). We also advocate for disability awareness by participating in Duo Day every year.
Working at the Cité internationale means profiting daily from the privileged and inspiring work environment within a wooded 34-hectare park with 43 buildings with remarkable architecture. From Le Corbusier to Laprade and Claude Parent, from Charlotte Perriand to Jean Prouvé, from Foujita to Le Phô, the Cité internationale has always been a great source of inspiration for architects and artists from around the world.
Convinced that an HR department should aim to support every employee, we offer new employees a personalised integration process. Guided campus tours allow you to get to know the houses and the park better. A tutor will welcome you, help you get to grips with your role and introduce you to our values and projects.
