HOUSE OF ARMENIAN STUDENTS

RESIDENTS

Residency conditions

The House of Armenian Students houses mainly students from Armenia or those of Armenian descent. The committee meets yearly in the first week of July. Applications must be sent via the website ciup.fr, found under the heading Become a Resident. Incomplete applications will not be considered. A list of those students accepted into the residence, following the regulations that govern the entire Cité, is posted along with a list of those who are refused, and these lists are the responsibility of the director. There is an additional list of students who will be admitted if a room becomes available.

Armenian citizens must provide a valid passport. Citizens of other countries must provide proof of their heritage with a baptism certificate from a parish of the Armenian Church or a government document demonstrating their national origin. They must also provide a recommendation from a member of their Armenian community.

If there is space available in the residence during the year, the House of Armenian Students hosts students, teachers and researchers for short stays of at least three nights. Those who wish to be lodged merely need to present a reason for their visit and apply using the admission request form. Short stay residents pay a set, daily fee.

The House of Armenian Students also welcomes students for extended stays if their school or country of origin is not represented by any other house in the Cité internationale.
