A DIVERSE ORGANISATION
Home to 10,000 students, researchers and artists every year, over 140 nationalities, 40 houses and a host of services, the Cité Internationale offers a unique setting backed by a remarkable organisation.
The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris is unique among French universities and institutions. It is run by a private body, the Fondation Nationale, and is listed as a public-interest organisation. It manages on-site services and 18 residences. The other 22 houses each represent a country or Grande Ecole and have their own legal status.

A HUB FOR ARTS AND CULTURE
Every year, the Cité Internationale hosts 1,000 events in arts and culture, organised by houses, residents and specialist services.
Culture is a cornerstone of life at the Cité Internationale. In addition to its theatre, the campus is also home to an orchestra, choir and heritage centre. It offers a range of services for those researching information either as a hobby or for the purposes of work or studies.

SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES
Covering everything from seminars and forums to award ceremonies, board meetings and receptions, the Seminars and Conferences service is on hand to provide help and advice to organise your events in beautiful surroundings.
The Cité Internationale offers an outstanding setting, providing event organisers with a complete raft of services including venue rental, catering, technical installations and staffing.

SERVICE D'ACCUEIL DES ÉTUDIANTS ÉTRANGERS

Le 6 septembre 2010, la Cité internationale universitaire de Paris ouvre son service d’accueil pour les étudiants étrangers. Cette plate-forme de services facilite l’arrivée et l’installation de milliers d’étudiants étrangers à Paris et en région Ile-de-France.
Mis en place, pour la 8ème année consécutive, avec le concours de la Ville de Paris, ce service d’accueil a pour vocation de répondre aux demandes des étudiants étrangers primo-arrivants en Ile-de-France et de leur permettre ainsi de se concentrer sur l’objet de leur venue en France : leurs études. Une équipe d’accueillants multilingues, spécialement formés, répond aux questions liées à la mobilité des étudiants : recherche d’un logement, obtention d’un titre de séjour, démarches administratives liées à la santé et au travail, cours de français, activités culturelles, associatives ou sportives.
En fonction des demandes, les accueillants dirigent ensuite les étudiants vers les services publics présents en continu durant la mise en place du service d’accueil du 6 septembre au 10 décembre 2010 :
- L’Office français de l’Immigration et de l’Intégration (OFII).
- La Préfecture de Police de Paris.
- La Caisse d’Allocations Familiales (CAF).
- La Direction Départementale du Travail, de l’Emploi et de la Formation Professionnelle (DDTEFP).
- La LMDE (mutuelle étudiante).
- La RATP.
Ce service d’accueil des étudiants étrangers permet donc en un seul endroit de régler en même temps l’ensemble des démarches permettant un séjour académique réussi en Ile-de-France et à Paris.
